Package: libc6-dev
Version: 2.2.5-7
Severity: important

While building PETSc on ARM, I got:

In file included from /usr/include/linux/param.h:4,
                 from /usr/include/sys/param.h:24,
                 from options.c:19:
/usr/include/asm/param.h:13: asm/arch/param.h: No such file or directory
/usr/include/asm/param.h:14: asm/proc/page.h: No such file or directory

The PETSc build finishes (since it consists only of libs), but I can't
build anything against it because one library is missing one object
file, e.g. illuminator doesn't build.

This problem does not occur with 2.2.5-6 in testing.

Maybe a problem with recent ARM kernel headers?

  Hi,

Turned out to be a dpkg bug, I made my unstable chroot by unpacking a
potato tarball, dpkging, and upgrading straight to unstable.

See bug 156463 for details.

Zeen,
