Great - That is what we would need :) I am right now trying to build
glibc 2.2 on my mips and mipsel machines and there are still
obvious makefile bugs so its a long way to go ...

Oh great - If you want access - I have 2 machines in the net - One little
endian (Decstation 5000/240) and a Big endian (SGI Indigo2).
I am right now trying to get new maintainer finished as i already applied
over a year ago and got stuck in the queue - Wichert now had is hands
on the application and my "Application Manager" has already contacted
me - so probably you will see the first mips(el) packages "real soon(tm)" on
master :)
