Moving all the PNGs will not break the build, causing you to not remember to
update the symlinks too.

It would mean that this list will be almost *always outdated*, please
compare current list of images in gui dir and current rules. You will
find huge difference. It was just accident that I found it.

Yes, the file lists are a bitch to maintain, in the past lintian had helpfull warnings for this, but policy was changes to allow a mix of arch-dep & arch-indep files in /usr/lib so the lintian check is no more.

Policy compliance is the reason the files were moved out of /usr/lib to /usr/share, with the relaxed policy we might want to consider undoing to move and keep everything under /usr/lib.
