Dear developers,
I've missed all the emails sent to pkg-grass in the last days:
I weren't subscribed to it and only now Alex pointed me to them, sorry.
This factor, plus the delay introduced with moderation of my posts, lead
in some misunderstanding which I would like to clarify:
1. I have time to help with postgis and acting as sponsor for Alex.
I've had problems last week, but the exact time period wasn't clear
for the dealy of the message on the list, sorry.
2. After saying 1, I would really appreciate any help (patch, or
anything else) from Stephen or whoever takes care of postgis.
3. We'll upload postgis to unstable today or, at least, tomorrow.
The package will be the one proveded by Alex, which is working to
put it in shape for unstable.
As already told to Alex, I would like to see the package with the
approach I showed him with my minimal version of postgis, but for the
moment we agreed that our short-term goal is to fix postgis in
testing/unstable, so let's go ahead with this.
More later, when we'll have more news for you.
