IMHO it will stabilize when will become team maintained, as for many
packages in the debian-gis and not-debian-gis area.
Frankly speaking, I will not lose my sleep if postgis will be 0-NMU and
possibly hijacked in a brief by people who care the status of the
package in sid and etch. Having a more cooperative attitude towards
other developers would be more productive for all.
