Bug#361409: gcc-4.1-locales: Long Description too short

Package: gcc-4.1-locales
Version: 4.1.0-1
Severity: minor

When running dist-upgrade today, this packages was in the suggested
list. Since I did not know what it does, I did an

apt-cache show gcc-4.1-locales

However, the (long) description is too short as it simply repeats the
short description (just different word order). According to policy
3.4:

The description should describe the package (the program) to a user
(system administrator) who has never met it before so that they have
enough information to decide whether they want to install it. This
description should not just be copied verbatim from the program's
     documentation.
would expect that the long description tells me what is different once I
install the package (some packages have clauses like "If you want the
following to happen (or not to happen) then you should install this
package). Without looking further, I don't know if the package is i18n
or l10n for gcc itself, or for the programm gcc generates, or ...

Citing policy (3.4.2) again:

The extended description should describe what the package does and how
it relates to the rest of the system (in terms of, for example, which
subsystem it is which part of).

The description field needs to make sense to anyone, even people who
have no idea about any of the things the package deals with.[1]

Well, I think I know what gcc does, so it should be able to tell me what
-locales does.
