Bug 122955: please open again

I had the same problem today, while recompiling a already running linux kernel 2.4.16 setup. The only thing i changed was the processor selection from 386 to Pentium-Classic (see configs below) and Pentium-MMX in a second try. Both had the same error. With 386 settings (-march=i386) and k6 (-march=k6) gcc is compiling without this problem.

I am using debian/woody with up to date packages from debian.org:

binutils           2.11.92.0.12.3
cpp-3.0 3.0.2-4 g++-3.0 3.0.2-4 gcc-3.0 3.0.2-4 gcc-3.0-base 3.0.2-4 gcc-3.0-doc 3.0.2-4 libc6 2.2.4-7 modutils 2.4.11-1

I can reproduce the bug and send further files/outputs. Please request from rainer.ellinger@web.de
