Please, do not post FUD like this. There are nothing to support your
claim, on the contrary. As the cheif designer of RPi A, B, A+, B+ and 2 has
gone out of their ways to make the RPi 2 backwards compatible with previous
versions, both hardware and Software wise.
Yes, MS have promised to deliver a version of MS Windows 10 to run on the
RPi 2 and so have Cannonical with a version of Ubuntu.
But nowhere there even have been one note about making it more closed, on
the contrary. They have invested money to make it more open.
So yes, there are arguments against RPi and RPi 2, like not everything is
open in it, and you can't boot without some closed firmware, like most PC
machines you all use to surf and read mail here.
But there are equal arguments for its use, like that it is available
everywhere and lots of people have experience with it, like PC with BIOS
and UEFI in many PC, also not open freeware.
So, make arguments, but not FUD...
