RFS: fonts-play update

Hello,

I'm looking for a sponsor for an updated version of the fonts-play
package, available via:

  https://salsa.debian.org/fonts-team/fonts-play

The current debian/changelog entry for this update is:

fonts-play (1.002+20150307.1-1) UNRELEASED; urgency=low

  * Updated to use upstream TTF file directly (Closes: 776273)
    - OTF files generated from TTF (backwards compatibility for package users)
    - Removed build-dependency on googlefontdirectory-tools, since only a
      simple generate script is needed
  * Removed fontfixes patch in favour of following upstream (fixes should be
    minimal for end-user)
  * Standards-Version 4.4.1
    - No changes, get-orig-source kept in debian/rules to allow svn subdir
      checkout.
  * Build with debhelper 9
  * Mark as Multi-Arch: foreign
  * Update upstream location after move from google code to github
    (Closes: 829241)

This package is currently marked for automremoval in testing due to the
python2 transition affecting its current build-dependency
googlefontdirectory-tools, this package version should fix this issue
by dropping this build dependency.

As a side note, I do not plan to do any updates of googlefontdirectory-
tools and unless someone is interested, facilitate its removal, do you
think this sounds reasonable?

If you prefer I can upload a non-Git version of fonts-play to
mentors.debian.net in addition to the Git repo.

I have left the changelog marked as UNRELEASED in Git, based on the
assumption that finalization and tagging might be done by the sponsor
(unsure of normal procedure here).
