Yes, they do. Please see the attached screenshot. This has been taken with the font version 1.200 in OTF format as downloaded from the github page and gedit 3.20.2-2. @Rodolphe: Could you please file an upstream bug against the vte package over at bugs.gnome.org and request them to add ligatures support, e.g. like the ones provided by Firacode? - Fabian
