[Pkg-fonts-devel] CIDMAP files in fontforge-extras and fontforge
Hello Yamane San,
I see that fontforge-extras package provides some cidmap files which is
already built in fontforge package. I see that this package is not
updated for quite some time now ¹ (last update in 2013).
Since fontforge itself is building these files (currently I didn't
include the files to avoid conflicts) can we merge fontforge-extras into
fontforge?.
One problem I see is fontforge-extras provide a binary called showttf
which is not present in fontforge. Does any one know what this binary
does and what is its usecases. Also if merging what to do with this
binary?.
