Definitely.

In addition it would be great if you added a build system to the
upstream source and removed the generated files (SVG, EOT, TTF) so
that if Debian has to change the font, we can automatically rebuild
the binary TTF the same way you would. Right now we only have vague
instructions that the font was "made using open-source tools, like
Fontforge and Inkscape" but not the actual commands used to
auto-convert the font to TTF.
