Sorry, I missed this thread, and was surprised to see new font
packages with this convention, which is different from what I read
long time ago:

To my understanding, "fonts" is to be used with source package,
not binary. Is there any documentation I've missed?
My package generates 3 font types, ttf, otf and type1, from the same
source. With the "fonts" convention, 2 of them must be gone.
