Hi everyone,

Thanks for getting the packaging policy document started. This will
surely become a useful document for the project.

I'm fairly busy these days but I will contribute bits about licensing
and related areas.

There were also some initial maintainer thoughts in svn that can be
usefully added to the wiki page. I'll do that shortly.

PS: there are useful resources out there, there is a Font Howto - which
needs some updating but it's a start - and the Fedora, Gentoo and Ubuntu
wikis have some good information wrt. to fonts as well.
