Books! Linux Routers, a Primer for Network Administrators, Tony Mancill, Prentice Hall. is a Debian based book that covers lots of issues, mostly connectivity (T-1, Wanpipe, extranet, frame relay) I found the ipchains section lacking. The Red Hat based book "Linux Firewalls" by Ziegler, New Riders Publishers, has a much more thorough (if repetitive?) discussion of ipchains. I found having them both meant I was pretty much covered.
