laux mi la servilo petas la pasvorton. Kmail raportas ke gxi (t.e.
kmail) diras "PASS <pasvorto>" kaj gxuste tiel oni provizas pasvorton al
POP-servilo (antauxe, gxi jam estus sendinta "USER <uznomo>").
vi povas provi per telnet-ado al pordo 110 de la POP-servilo, kaj mem
provi, ekzemple:
telnet popservilo.adreso.org
[la servilo ion diros]
USER ViaUzNomo
[la servilo denove ion respondos]
PASS ViaPasvorto
[la servilo aux respondos pri sukcesa identigo aux
nesukcesa]
se sukcesa, kontroli la valorojn en Kmail (majuskleco eble gravas). se
nesukcesa, do vi eraras pri almenaux unu el servila adreso, uznomo, aux
pasvorto...
