How to configure an enterprise server

Hi

I have a relatively small office (10 members). And considering the long
run, I want to deploy a central data storage and server (pardon my
language, I am just a noob).

I am getting Ofbiz to be used as my ERP, plus common DTP softwares /
office suites, say openoffice.org.

Please guide me to some documentation / best practices notes, so that I
can configure a debian server to be used in conjunction with thin
clients.
