hello, try to compile the php inside the kit, try to make the settings and gives me some errors, but corrected and, when finished the configuration tells me you can install php5 ... but when I do make & & make install I generated a mistake at the beginning of make. do not know if the version of gcc with the php5 version generates an error. Try to install php4. If you realy need php5 you have to switch to a newer version of  Debian,
because Sarge 3.1 is death since many years.
