Browsing the toolchain repository at 
http://www.emdebian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gcc-4.4 I've noted that there is no
version of gcc-4.4-powerpc-linux-gnu_4.4.4-13_amd64.deb package for i386 host,
only for amd64.

Are there some problems build gcc 4.4 powerpc-cross for i386 (hope no)?
