rsyslog alternative with memory ringbuffer

Hi,

i'm searching for an alternative for rsyslog to handle log messages on
an embedded system. Would be great if the tool has the possibility to
use a memory ringbuffer to store the messages in memory (and maybe the
possibility to save/restore the memory buffer to/from flash-disk.

Any ideas?
