Emdebian is Debian - get the Debian installer and install it. You can choose an Emdebian mirror at that stage or upgrade Debian to Emdebian later. For smaller machines, you need to create a custom installer. The Debian installer for Lenny (Debian 5.0, Emdebian Grip 1.0) does have a few issues with the pre-seeding. It may be simpler to just install the smallest possible Debian (i.e. without Xorg), change the apt sources to www.emdebian.org/grip and select the XFCE task with tasksel. > > Or installation of emdebian is much complicated than usual distributions if > > such file doesn't exists? >From the page you quoted: "Download the relevant ISO image. Depending on your system, you may need the small CD ISO (180Mb) or the mini netboot ISO (15Mb). Most testing has been done with the small CD ISO image." The page gives links to those standard Debian ISO images. Grip is too similar to Debian to warrant spending the time creating an almost identical ISO. For those situations where a standard ISO is not suitable, we provide the tools to help create a means of installation but these require knowledge of how to manage and create such a method. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
