You could be on your own with that one. Test the build with other build scripts (e.g. debuild) and try without the emdebian patches (apt-get source in ../branches/foo etc.) also use embug --prepare to create a set of test build directories. I've tested with emdebuild -a arm and emdebuild -a amd64 (on amd64) without problems.
