Hi,
Dpkg-cross attempts to be a little too clever and skips packages with just
executables in; while it is true that these don't need to be installed
for a cross build environment other packages still seem to depend on them
(e.g. in my case libstdc++-m68k-cross depending on g++-m68k-cross)
and if I force libstdc++ in then it annoys apt-get upgrade which moans
about the lack of dependency.

I suggest there needs to be an option to make it not skip.

Dave

P.S. An apt-get hack to allow you to pull in dependent cross files would
be great!

After waiting for a reply, I've decided to close this bug report
because the requested functionality is, IMHO, present in the apt-cross
package.

If this bug is to be reopened, it should also be reassigned to
apt-cross.
