Surely if no arch > has been specified then it should just insist on one being specified > somewhere, and halt. I've got a problem in dpkg-cross with that - specifying no default arch causes dpkg-cross setup() to call die() which isn't nice when setup() is called by another script. dpkg-cross needs two things: 1. dpkg-cross.pl to become a true Perl module, just like Emdebian::Tools 2. a module-compatible setup() routine that doesn't - ever - call die(), instead calls 'return -1'. I've got an interim fix for the emdebian-tools scripts and if the above sounds sensible, I'll work on that for the next release of dpkg-cross. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
