Building a EmDebian system on a Flash Disk

Hi all,

I'd like to build a micro Debian system running on a 16 MB
CompactFlash (SanDisk).

The platform used is x86 general. And the classic question is: "How to
begin?". Is there any 'cake prescription'?

I started reading the www.emdebian.org docs. Is there any other way?
Other source of information?

I appreciate any help.
