Problems at booting
Hi all,
I'm pretty new to Debian and I'm getting some difficulties in making it works.
We are working with a Xilinx ml403 board, with a powerpc embedded. I
downloaded sarge distribution for powerpc from http.us.debian.org using
debootstrap. It had no inittab, so I added one.
The kernel we are using is a 2.4.26.
When I boot the kernel, everything goes fine untill it gets to

where it hangs, and I don't see the login prompt.
I load linux from a serial terminal (ttyS0).
Any idea of what is happening?
