Re: [XEmacs at fault?!] Munging of del and backspace
Ok, this actually works for me too (except C-h k <-- doesn't say the
"translated from <backspace" part).
So my problem now is: Why is XEmacs doing it differently? It thinks
DEL is the key with Delete printed on it, and BS is the one with <--.
Very annoying, e.g. the po-mode binds DEL to po-fade-put-entry, and it
ends up on the Delete key in XEmacs and on the <-- key in Emacs. Sigh.
Thanks for explaining the Emacs way!
