Can you perhaps get copies of the VMs? Then at least the option exists
to retrieve information later again if wanted. Of course Debian can pay
for hosting if that's something that's standing in the way of rehosting
this elsewhere, but if it's not in use, it might be better to just lay
it to rest.

I don't have a strong opinion either way but just wanted to let you know
that hosting itself would at least not be an issue.
