I installed squeeze-test using a netinst CD with desktop=gnome
yesterday, and got a Gnome desktop. How did you test? Can you test
again and see if the problem still exist?

I forgot to give information on what happens when installing from DVD with option desktop=gnome. This has changed contrary to what I have written above.

On first boot I get a system with not X-login at all. I only have the text login consoles.

Greets,
Mike
