Installation with kernel option desktop=gnome works (again?) for CD-NETINST, but not for DVD.
With the DVD installation the package gdm is missing on the DVD. After I have post-d-i installed gdm I can log on to the system and find a GNOME desktop after login.
However, this GNOME desktop seems to be incomplete due to missing packages on the DVD, at least one I found immediately: gnome-terminal.
