Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

OK. What comes into my mind: I extended
the range of static clients some years ago,
but till now there was no problem with this.
Does anybody know the default limit of static
clients?

Unless I meet a person who had the same problem.
It cannot be pam, I think, as login is possible
to LDAP from the lenny system on the same machine
(same IP).

Cheers
