[Bug 1370] New: sound should work on thin clients

http://bugs.skolelinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1370

Summary: sound should work on thin clients
           Product: Skolelinux
           Version: lenny-test
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Configuration
        AssignedTo: debian-edu@lists.debian.org
        ReportedBy: tech@hiroshima-is.ac.jp

Or be completely disabled if it is decided that TC shouldn't play sound.
It is embarrassing when the thin client plays beautiful KDE start up sound, but
no sound in the apps.
I believe edubuntu has used pulseaudio for thin clients for several versions
now.

I belive KDE is set up to use ESD. This probably should change. The
override for KDE is in debian-edu-config.

Happy hacking,
