Perhaps file a bugreport against Iceweasel, then?

If for nothing else, then for having a broader discussion about the 
issue.


I won't file such bugreport, as I find it perfectly sane to be obnoxious 
about unverifiable encryption (e.g. use of self-signed certificates).
