[Bug 1356] New: debian-edu-fsautoresize: log messages out of sync during installation.

http://bugs.skolelinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1356

Summary: debian-edu-fsautoresize: log messages out of sync during
                    installation.
           Product: Skolelinux
           Version: lenny-test
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P4
         Component: debian-edu-config
        AssignedTo: debian-edu@lists.debian.org
        ReportedBy: skilinux@gmail.com

Log messages entered by debian-edu-fsautoresize during installation are out of
sync with other installer messages.

It seems that these messages use local time, while the rest of the log is using
UTC or GMT.

Example /var/log/installer/syslog excerpt:

-------snip--------
Jun 11 22:26:17 in-target: Selecting previously deselected package
nictools-pci.
Jun 11 22:26:17 in-target: Unpacking nictools-pci (from
.../nictools-pci_1.3.8-1
.2_i386.deb) ...
Jun 12 01:26:18 debian-edu-fsautoresize: overfull /var, resizing to 2365440
Jun 11 22:26:18 in-target: Selecting previously deselected package nmap.
Jun 11 22:26:18 in-target: Unpacking nmap (from
.../archives/nmap_4.62-1_i386.de
b) ...
-------snap--------
* Note the middle (3rd) line.

I think the installer logs all standard output, if so directing the messages to
standard output instead of using Sys::Syslog facilities may produce better
results.
