just downloaded:

and it contains:

maybe it's a confusion with server-side vs. client-side stuff?

the hook is server-side, so it's in the ltspfs package, and should be
copied to /etc/ltspfs/mounter.d/ on the server.

i'll read up on the policy sections jonas mentioned and consider moving
and symlinking it.
