the change done by Patrick see to have been dropped from svn.  No idea
why, but unpending this issue because of this.

And, I fail to understand why a recommend on a package that is
scheduled for removal is a serious issue with any explanation, so I
reduce the severity to important.  We will find a replacement and drop
it when it is gone (happens automatically at build time), so it will
not be forgotten.
