Hi, while having to use an auxilary single processor machine (AMD64),
I was puzzled about a 100% CPU usage.

HTOP revealed: 14 clients of adept_notifier pushed my CPU to the max.
"killall adept_notifier" brought a sudden relief.

I am quite happy to have such thing as adept: quick and easy to use if
you know the root password. It might even make sense on workstations.
But I doubt that it should be run on LTSP/thin clients. Apart from this,
a red warning sign in your taskbar doesn't make you more confident with
the system you use.

Suggestion: Don't start adept_notifier on LTSP, or even for non-privileged 
users.
