This sound similar to a comment I've seen on the norwegian users list, about
LVM missing when installing for the second time.  This is rather strange, as
I remember we preseeded some questions related to allowing the installer
to remove existing LVM volumes if found.

I do not know how to fix this problem, and have not seen it myself yet.
