After some testing I found out, that the groupmaps are guilty.
Samba now includes groupmaps in ldap. When samba-debian-edu-admin tries to set a
mapping from the unix group admins to the rid=512 it fails silently. This
mapping is required from admins to allow Windows systems to join a domain.
