there is a dsa-parser (to aid the debian-edu security team in automatically
sending out debian-edu relevant DSAs) on alioth svn/debian-edu/trunk/security
but white says it has too many false positives.
white has the following wishes for the parser: 1. going through a proxy, 2.
checking false positives, 3. working with the python version in etch and sid
(but they should be identical now, right?)

we should limit promotion of server systems to production ready software.
installing a test or development version of tuxracer (which is now called
planetpenguinracer) or openoffice is something different than installing a
development version of the central ldap tool, which essentially has root on
all machines.
