Great! Does this run out of the box without changes?

Because I have some problems with secure and /dev/fuse.

Yes 

Putting in and out of floppy does not show up in the udevmonitor.

In a standalone profile you can mount floppy over konqueror: system:/media

I have a working Edubunto Terminal Server here 

There is a Icon on the screen for floppy0 and if I klick it floppy will be 
mounted. In this moment udevmonitor shows output.

Yes I search also for valid documentation.

I think it is time to make a bug report.
