Does it help to add this line to /etc/security/group.conf?  It is supposed
to make sure every user logging in is added to the fuse group:

  *; *; *; Al0000-2400; fuse

I'm not sure if it is safe to add every user to this group, so this is just for
testing.  I'm not sure why the fuse named pipe is missing, nor what is supposed
to create it, so we will have to debug that later.
