<pere> h01ger: yes.  I ment to write network-manager-kde when I wrote 
knetwork-manager.  the source package is called knetworkmanager, and I 
misspelled it.
<pere> with the two fixes in place and 'allow-hotplug' in network/interfaces, 
it worked as it should. :)
