Hi Steffen, how are you.

Is there a list of the packages already chosen? What does popcon say?
apt-cache show kdeedu tells us:
blinken (>= 4:3.5.5-1), kalzium (>= 4:3.5.5-1), kanagram (>= 4:3.5.5-1),
kbruch (>= 4:3.5.5-1), kdeedu-data (>= 4:3.5.5-1), keduca (>=
4:3.5.5-1), khangman (>= 4:3.5.5-1), kig (>= 4:3.5.5-1), kiten (>=
4:3.5.5-1), klatin (>= 4:3.5.5-1), klettres (>= 4:3.5.5-1), kmplot (>=
4:3.5.5-1), kpercentage (>= 4:3.5.5-1), kstars (>= 4:3.5.5-1), ktouch
(>= 4:3.5.5-1), kturtle (>= 4:3.5.5-1), kverbos (>= 4:3.5.5-1),
kvoctrain (>= 4:3.5.5-1), kwordquiz (>= 4:3.5.5-1), indi (>= 4:3.5.5-1)
Out of those these are the most replaceable to be.
kstars is the biggest package
indi is used to control telescopes for kstars
kiten won't make sense without japanes fonts
klettres could be replaced by tuxtype
kverbos and maybe even klatin and kvoctrain could be replaced by
kwordquiz
There are other educational tools that are not in kdeedu such as
vym
ksimus
earth3d
...
but it might get hard to get them on.
There are further educational tools that are not even packaged (but more
or less free). I know of several java applications that are under GPL
(jbruch, geogebra/geonext?).
Regards
Ralf
