What's the difference between a learning mangagement system (LMS) and a
content management system?

We know what and how we gonna use a CMS in Skolelinux. We also know what we
get with a Learning Managament System as .LRN or moodle. The question now
is not about a LMS, but about giving the teachers what they are asking for
-- not what a technical person as for. The reason we don't have what the
teachers ask for - is that people ask technical question, not usability
question - and then let the tools help you. So here is the requirement
issue:

Feedback from teachers and people that talks with the teachers and
principals say that the www.skolelinux.no needs a lot of improvements. It's
difficoult to find things and so on. Then we gonna give them 5-6 menu's at
the top, and relevant condeced information. Today the don't find what they
are looking for. I don't find what I am looking fore. A LMS-oriented CMS
dont solve this. We need to tidy up the system we use today, or do it when
somebody makes a new CMS with some of the old content's and simplified
menues etc.
