Yes and no. I was able to mount the disk with a 2.4.27
knoppix-kernel. I also tried a sarge net-inst with a 2.4.27 kernel,
but it failed for the same reason. The same installation was
succesfull, when I used the 2.6.8 kernel.

No, I didn't find anything like that.

Is it planned to build an image with 2.6 kernel? I don't worry about
partitioning the disk myself, but I don't have a clue how to build
the image.
