...and everybody on that network has access to the USB pen!
The school teacher plugging in the pen with results for the exam, and
the clever kids grabbing the content behind his/her back.
You don't even need to sniff the network to get passwords (which are
floating around the network in cleartext only pseudo-scrambled in X11
requests, as discussed earlier on this list): you can simply try
accessing all nodes on the network one by one.
