syncing Windows with Linux accounts is easy (works out of the Box) but if somebody changes the password in Linux the windows password is not changed and that will be pretty confusing for the users. I have tried to customize my pam settings: password required pam_ldap.so password required pam_smbpass.so nullok use_authtok try_first_pass but that does not work. any pointers ? cheers christian.
