great, I just did a checkout and some more preparation for translators:
- - removed about five duplicates from the en file
- - added a po subdir with generated en.pot, en .po files for the existing
  translations
- - synced translations in .po files with those existing in the default branch
(this improved french translation, and added nearly-complete nl and pt_BR
translations)

current stats:
de      (35 t, 175 u)
fr       (141 t, 69 u)
nl       (145 t, 32 f, 33 u)
no      (33 t, 177 u)
pt_BR (145 t, 32 f, 33 u)
