Hi all, (also Cc:ing the German Debian Edu list, but leaving the post in English)I recently uploaded a new gosa version to jessie and stretch/unstable that includes a change in the gosa.conf template /usr/share/doc/gosa/gosa.conf (that fixed [1]).
Once you have upgraded GOsa² to version gosa 2.7.4+reloaded2-1+deb8u1, you will see a message on screen saying this:
"The configuration file you are using is outdated. Please move the GOsa configuration file away to run the GOsa setup again."
WARNING: Don't follow that instruction on a Debian Edu mainserver.Instead, rather update the <conf configVersion=...> XML element in your currently used /etc/gosa/gosa.conf to the below setting:
""" <conf configVersion="3dcfa28818766382948647a15bcbcbbc"> """ That above md5 hash can be generated via running $ md5sum /usr/share/doc/gosa/gosa.confI am unsure how to appropriately meet this issue in terms of packaging gosa. Maybe we should introduce a special configVersion="Managed-by-Debian-Edu" value, that gets recognized by gosa's class_config.inc (where the above error messages originates from). If such a configVersion is set, the annoying notification should not pop up anymore.
